All materials and supplies are provided.
Ages:
This class is appropriate for adults.

Prerequisites: Students should already be able to weigh and wedge clay, and already know the basic terminology used in hand building pottery. A beginner pottery class will teach those things, so if you took a pottery class previously, you probably have thsse skills.

Students will learn:

  1. How to build a large functional pitcher

  2. Creating and adding sculptural elements to your pieces

  3. Carving

  4. Glazing and finishing

Taught by: Nikki Moritz, a Sauk Centre resident with a passion for great pottery and many years teaching experience.
